BARSANA-"The Land which Witnesses Love bond"
Apart from Vrindavan there is a place named "Barsana" which witnesses love bond between Radha and Krishna . Radha Rani was borned in Rawal and Kanha ji was born in Mathura and afterwards shifted to Gokul to be saved from Kansa.When Kansa was sending devil to kill Krishna Nandbaba (father of Shree Krishna) and Vrishbhanu (father of Radha Rani) decided to get shift to Nandgaon and Barsana respectively.
Kanhaiya comes to Barsana from Nandgaon(10 km from barsana) in fond of Radha Rani .
Barsana is to situated on four hills also known as four heads of Brahmaji namely Bhangarh , Maangarh , Daangarh , Vilasgarh.
There are some areas in Barsana which witness their love bond. They are:-
1)Morkuti / Mayur kuti-
Morkuti is situated on Vilasgarh hill. Here Kanhaiya and Radha Rani transformed themselves in peacock and does a beautiful dance . Morkutir comes under Chiksauli Village which is the village of Radha Rani's friend.
2)Daangarh
Here Kanhaiya transformed him in a way of bangle seller and sold bangle to Radha Rani . From here a very famous song "Shyamchudi bechne aya" is depicted .
3)Sankrikhor
Sankrikhor is a narrow passage way between two hills.
One hill is blackish which is known as Krishna hill and another hill is whitish in colour known as Radha's hill.
4) Gahavar van
A dense jungle with full of trees inside it. These trees were made by Radha Rani . In this forest Radha Rani and Kanhaiya used to spent their time.
5)Maangarh
As said in love there is anger also.
This hill is reffered to as anger state of Radha Rani from Shri Krishna.
